CAPACITY CROWDS THRONG BLUE RIBBAND
MEMBER'S PREVIEW AND A FORMAL OPENING

On two separate evenings during the first week of May, huge crowds of members as well as lawyers and judges gathered within the ground floor gallery at the Southern District’s Federal Courthouse, 500 Pearl Street, to attend the unveiling of Blue Ribband, The Quest for Speed Across the Atlantic.

On both successive occasions, every visitor marveled at the splendid collection of artifacts, paintings, photographs and memorabilia that guest curator Wayne Mazzotta had assembled for this long-awaited exhibition.

President John Maxtone-Graham was on hand to greet the guests as well as sign copies of his exhibition catalogue, written especially for the occasion. Those members who were unable to attend the opening will by now have received a complimentary copy of this richly illustrated publication.

Members who wish an additional copy should send a check for $30 to the museum office. Click here for address information.
